Running into capacity issues is certainly a relatable experience. Approaching projects from a creative problem-solving and customer-centric mindset while maintaining brand promises allows for great design. It also allows the opportunity to identify processes that can be streamlined. Traditional fundraising appeal letters were receiving increased competition from well-designed approaches while simultaneously experiencing a need to increase list size and frequency. Designing a well thought out template provided the ability to gain professional identity while also creating efficiencies by being flexible and repeatable. 
 
Mailing three appeals annually across five states offered an opportunity to change direction. Using an effective graphics-heavy template featuring real patients served to captivate audiences while maintaining brand standards and, importantly, helped alleviate capacity issues.
